Terms of Use
Effective date: October 5, 2026. These terms cover use of the Del Mar Insurance website (Del Mar Insurance Associates, LLC) and related quote or service requests submitted online or through an authorized AI assistant.
Who we are
Del Mar Insurance Associates, LLC is an independent insurance agency licensed in Texas (agency license 1544601). Our office is in Corpus Christi, Texas. We help people shop personal and specialty lines coverage; we are not a single-carrier captive, and we do not sell life or health insurance.
Services
Online forms and assistant requests are requests for a licensed broker to contact you. They are not insurance quotes, binders, policy changes, or claim filings. Submitting a request does not bind coverage or change a policy. Any coverage discussion is subject to carrier underwriting, eligibility, and the carrier's terms.
Primary lines we discuss online include auto and homeowners. Other personal and specialty lines (such as renters, motorcycle, condo, boat, windstorm, landlord, mobile home, and business) may be available. Life and health insurance are not offered.
Acceptable use
Use this site and any related APIs only for lawful insurance inquiries you are authorized to make. Do not submit false information, attempt to overload or probe our systems, scrape forms without authorization, or send credentials for carrier portals. We may refuse or discard abusive requests.
Data use
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy notice. Information you submit is used to contact you, prepare a quote discussion, and shop carriers when appropriate. Like most insurance companies, carriers we shop may use information from you and other sources — such as driving, claims, and credit histories — to calculate an accurate price for insurance. New or updated information may be used to calculate a renewal premium.
AI assistants and third-party requests
If an AI assistant (for example Meta Muse) or another third party submits a request on someone's behalf, that person must have authorized the submit. We treat authorized assistant requests as contact-only soft intake unless we collect additional details directly with the customer.
No warranties; limitation
The website and APIs are provided as-is for scheduling broker follow-up. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, instant rates, or that any particular carrier will offer coverage. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Del Mar Insurance Associates, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or from delayed follow-up.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes relating to the site lies in the state or federal courts serving Nueces County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
