Meta Muse connector
Del Mar Insurance Associates, LLC exposes a small HTTPS API for Meta Muse: contact-only soft intake for Texas personal and specialty lines. The connector never returns a premium or binds coverage. A licensed broker follows up.

Authentication
Every Muse endpoint requires header X-Del-Mar-Key with an API key issued by Del Mar. Keys are hashed at rest; revoke by removing the hash from server config and redeploying. Missing or invalid keys return 401.
Endpoints
GET /api/muse/info
Read-only agency facts: products, hours, contact, license 1544601, disclosures. Requires API key.
POST /api/muse/quote
Contact-only quote callback. Required JSON fields: fullName, phone, email, preferredContact (call|text|email), zip (5-digit), coverageType, bestTime, consumerNoticeAcknowledged=true, authorizedByCustomer=true. Optional: currentCarrier, notes (length capped). Coverage types: auto, home, renters, motorcycle, condo, boat, windstorm, landlord, mobile_home, business. Life and health are rejected. Unknown fields and DOB / driver's license / VIN / street address fields or patterns are rejected with 400.
Success response shape: { ok: true, premium: null, bound: false, message, referenceId }.
Rate limits
- Per API key: about 30 requests/minute and 500/day
- Per email and per phone on quote submits: 3 per 24 hours
- Exceeded limits return

Consumer notice (quotes)
Like most insurance companies, carriers we shop may use information from you and other sources, such as your driving, claims, and credit histories, to calculate an accurate price for your insurance. New or updated information may be used to calculate your renewal premium. Each carrier’s Privacy Policy explains how that company discloses and protects your personal information and how you may access and correct it.
